Bingin Beach, Bali
The Bukit Peninsula on Bali’s South West Coast, is where you will discover the beautiful Bingin Beach, nestled between Padang-Padang and Dreamland beaches, Bingin Beach is home to one of the best surf breaks on the Peninsula, if not the island.
The cliff-tops of beautiful Bingin Beach are just a 200 meter walk from the Mahi-Mahi Bingin, here you will traverse around 150 steps down to the pristine waters.
There is plenty about Bingin Beach that makes it truely unique, the most important fact is that the beach has not been overdeveloped, maintaining its natural beauty and quirky little beach huts consisting of local warungs/restaurants where you can enjoy local dishes, cold drinks and shelter from the middday sun.
Visitors to Bingin Beach will have to traverse the ancient stairs through the myriad of beach huts, adding to the adventure and mystique of this beautiful beach. The beach offers a laid-back vibe with tourists and a few locals surfing, swimming and sun-baking, while some of the friendly local ladies offer massages, pedicures and local handicrafts.
As the sun begins to settle on the horizon and your tummy starts to rumble, there are some well priced, tasty dining options to ponder including seafood BBQ’s prepared by some of the local warungs. Choose from fresh fish, calamari, maybe some prawns prepared on the grill, order a cold beer, relax and feel the sand between your toes.
The Bukit Peninsula’s west facing perspective, makes Bingin Beach one of the best spots to enjoy amazing sunsets over the azure Indian Ocean.
