Terms & Conditions

  • 50% deposit is required within 5 days of the booking being made. The outstanding balance is due 31 days prior to arrival.

  • For stays of 3 nights or less, full payment is due within 5 days of the booking being made.

  • If a booking is made within 31 days of arrival, full payment is required at the time of reservation.

  • For Non- Refundable reservation, full payment is required within 3 days of the booking being made.

  • Bank Transfers – All bank fees (including Mahi-Mahi bank correspondence / beneficiary / receiving fees) are to be included in the total amount transferred. Any shortfall in the total rental amount received from the rental amount due will be due and payable prior to arrival. NOTE: You will need to instruct your sending bank to ensure the full amount transferred is guaranteed to Mahi-Mahi receiving bank.

  • Failure to make payment on time may result in the cancellation of your booking.

Cancellation & Refund:

  • All cancellations need to be made in writing to mahimahi@houseofreservations.com.

  • If a booking is cancelled 31 days or more prior to arrival 50% of the total reservation will be charged

  • If the booking is cancelled 1-30 days prior to arrival 100% of the total price of the reservation will be charged

  • In case of a no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

  • No refund will be given for reduction of stay once checked in.

  • Non Refundable Reservation: This offer requires full pre-payment in advance of the price of the entire reservation.

  • No refund will be given if cancelled or modified after the booking is made.

  • No refund will be given for reduction of stay after booking is made.

 

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that you take out comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking, to protect you and all those accompanying you for the full time of your visit against illness, including evacuation, injury, death, loss of baggage and personal items, theft, cancellation and other travel contingencies.

NUMBERS IN PARTY AND SUITABILITY

The number of persons occupying a property must not exceed the maximum number stated in the property description unless by prior arrangement. Everyone occupying the property must be listed in the booking form, including small children.

The accommodation cannot be shared or sub-let and only the persons shown in the booking form are permitted to stay in the property. Persons under the age of 18 are not accepted as guests unless accompanied by parents or responsible adults. Mahi-Mahi reserves the right to refuse any booking. Failure to comply will render the booking void and no compensation will be paid.

PASSPORTS & VISAS

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have valid passports, visas and re-entry permits which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities for the Country and/or region you will be visiting. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be your sole responsibility.

All travelers must have a valid passport for international travel and must have an expiration date not less than 6 months prior to entry.

DAMAGES, BREAKAGES AND LOSSES

Guests are responsible for looking after the property, leaving it in good order and clean condition. Guests also undertake to pay for damages, breakages or losses they may be responsible for during the period of their stay. Mahi-Mahi reserves the right to reclaim the hired property if the hirer, members of the guest party or guest visitors cause excessive damage or mess.

Please Note: It is the policy of Mahi-Mahi that all guests sign a credit card authorization form at check-in to cover the possible cost of any damages that may occur to the rented premises due to the occupancy of the premises by the guest. All guests will also be required to sign a “Waiver of Liability” form at check-in.
